About Out On Screen

Out On Screen is the umbrella arts organisation that delivers the Out in Schools program. Our full name is The Vancouver Out On Screen Film + Video Society and we are a registered charity (#890743792).

We produce the annual Vancouver Queer Film Festival each August which includes the School’s Out Series.

Our mission is to promote the production and exhibition of queer media art creating opportunity for dialogue and education among diverse communities that cross class, age, ability, ethnicity, spirituality, gender and sexuality.
