NO HATE 2011: Anti-Homophobia Youth Filmmaking Bootcamp

NO HATE 2011

NO HATE is a FREE, five day filmcamp for LGTBQ youth and their ally friends ages 14-24. You will learn the basics of digital filmmaking in a fun environment and see your film on the big screen at the 23rd annual Vancouver Queer Film Festival! No experience necessary.

Reel Youth

Out in Schools is teaming up with the fantastic folks at Reel Youth, a not-for-profit, media empowerment program supporting young people to create and distribute films about their visions for a better world.

NO HATE 2011 takes place July 18-22, at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown, Downtown Vancouver (Yaletown-Roundhouse Canada Line Skytrain Station). Check out the event listing on Facebook.

To sign up, fill out this APPLICATION FORM and submit to Jen.

A special thank you to the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation for supporting NO HATE 2011!
