2013 Pride Run & Walk

Out in Schools has been selected as the charity partner for the Vancouver Frontrunners and Walkers 2013 Pride Run & Walk on July 27, 2013. The 2012 Pride Run raised $7,052 for Out in Schools.

The race starts at 9:00 am at Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley Park. You can compete in either a 5 km or 10 km race. Registration is now open. Register early to guarantee your shirt size.

We'd like to thank the Vancouver Frontrunners and Walkers and all participants for helping make schools safer for LGBT youth.

With approximately 150 members, the Vancouver Frontrunners are one of the largest running and walking clubs in BC. Founded in 1983, the Frontrunners are one of the oldest LGBT sporting clubs in Vancouver. The club meets twice weekly and participates in a number of races, fundraisers, and sporting events throughout the year. They also host monthly social events such as potlucks, movie nights, barbecues, and even road trips to meet up with the Frontrunner clubs in Portland and Seattle.
