Third Party Events

Out in Schools is a program that uses film to engage young people in discussions around bullying, homophobia, transphobia and safer schools.

Did you know that…

·         Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer (LGBTQ) students are four time more likely to attempt suicide than their straight peers?

·         70% of all students hear homophobia language in their schools daily?

·         80% of LGBTQ students attending schools with anti-homophobia policies report having never been physically harassed?

Canada and BC have seen a lot of positive change with people’s attitudes towards LGBTQ people.  But there is still work to be done.  Help Out in Schools sustain and build on these changes.  There are lots of ways you can support us.

Is it your birthday?  Are you hosting a BBQ?  Are you a promoter/ event organizer?

Get creative!  Direct proceeds to Out in Schools to help remove bullying from classrooms.

Third Party Events are an excellent opportunity for you or your group to have fun and raise funds for Out in Schools. We deeply appreciate your interest. Contact Richard Housser or Andrew Chung today to get started!
